sheetmusic.git

Sheet music collected over the years, written specifically for tin whistle. Usually, for tin whistle D, but also for other keys if sung or originally written so.

Guidelines

  • If feasible to play, leave in original key. Otherwise, or if sung in different key, leave a note.

  • Optimise for concise output. Use repeats, voltas, and segnos.

  • Always mark length of the first note in bar. Omit for following notes if same.

  • Always use numerical tempo.

  • Leave as much formatting as possible to the engraver.

  • Leave as much dynamics, articulation, and ornaments as possible to the performer.

  • Use semantic \fine for end of piece. Do not use \bar "|."
